This number kept calling my moms cell phone at all hours...so annoying! I called 888-988-5884 and asked that they remove her number. Well see. Thanks for the 888 number!

Fake (spoofed) number for a debt collector with a terrible reputation for lying and being deceptive. Tried to collect on an account that my husband suppousedly had in 2000 by threatening to trigger an IRS audit. When I called her on her lies and told her that my husband and I met in 2004 so I was unaware of any debt, she became rude and threatened to take me to court as well. Tried to call back and get a physical address of company and was hung up on 17 times. Nice people!!!!

Called the number back and they said they were a charity raising money for firefighters.  They tried to use salesman tactics to get me to accept a "donation packet" at my address.  I told them not to call again and they said that they had added my number to the do-not-call list.  Seems like a phishing attempt.

i recieved a call from a joe smith saying he was from the attorny general saying i owed 271 dollars to a payday site called cashnet i aked who they were but they would not answer he said if i didnt pay they were going to prosecute i do not know of a cashnet site
